The Denver Nuggets turns up the heat on both the offensive and defensive end and scorches the struggling Toronto Raptors, 109-100. Both Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson were in-charge of the assault on Denver’s basket as they scored a combined 69 points. Meanwhile, Kenyon Martin shut down Toronto’s All-star player, Chris Bosh in the fourth quarter. Coach George Karl was impressed with his whole team, but singled out K-Mart for his defense.
On the other side of the Losing column, the Toronto Raptors have lost seven out of eight games. Both coach Sam Mitchell and Bosh has lamented that his team seems to be hesitant near the endgame.
