Gov. Gregoire Plans To Ask Stern, BOG Not To Approve Sonics Move
Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire Thursday said that she plans to ask NBA Commissioner David Stern and the NBA BOG, which next week will meet to vote on the Sonics’ relocation request, “not to approve the Sonics move and to give the state a chance to keep the team,” according to Chris Daniels of KING-NBC.
